CELTIC, Central Gaul. Aedui. c. 80-50 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 12mm, 1.99 g 11). Helmeted head of Roma to left within double border of dots. Rev. Celtic horse walking to left; around, fragmentary inscription; in exergue, wheel. CCCBM II 305 ff. (reverse) and S 277 (obverse). SLM 633. With an obverse of unusually fine style, rare thus. Lightly toned. Nearly extremely fine.
