Vespasian. AD 69-79. AV Aureus (7.21 g, 7h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck AD 71. Laureate head right / S P Q R/P • P/OB CS in three lines within oak wreath. RIC II 298; Lyon 21; Calicó 674 (this coin). Good VF, underlying luster. Extremely rare. Better than the example in the British Museum, which was a gift of King George III in 1823.
