Divus Marcus Aurelius. Died AD 180. Æ Sestertius (29.23 g, 11h). Rome mint. Struck under Commodus, AD 180. Bare head right / Funeral pyre with four stories, ornamented with statues and garlands, surmounted by statue of Aurelius in facing quadriga. RIC III 662 (Commodus); MIR 18, 487-6/10; Banti 53. Good VF, green patina, traces of red, fields lightly smoothed. Pleasing portrait.
