INDIA, Kushan Empire. Vasudeva II. Circa AD 290-310. AV Quarter Dinar (2.03 g, 12h). Mint I (A). Vasudeva, diademed and crowned, standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar and holding trident; filleted trident to left, pellet between legs, Buddhist Triratana (“Three Jewels”) to right / Siva standing facing, holding diadem and trident; behind, the bull Nandi standing left, monogram on rump; tamgha to left. MK 678 (unlisted dies). Good VF. Extremely rare, only one example known to Göbl.
