KRMAN (Kirman) mint; Abdallah ibn al-Zubayr, rival caliph. Dated AH 65 (AD 684/5). Sasanian style bust imitating Khosrau II right; annulet on breast; “Abdallah Amir of the Faithful” in Pahlavi in two lines to right; pellet to left of crown’s right wing; annulet to left of lower star and crescent; “bismillah” in lower right outer margin / Fire altar with ribbons and attendants, star and crescent flanking flames; AH date to left, mint to right.
