Pescennius Niger. AD 193-194. AR Denarius (18mm, 1.58 g, 12h). Antioch mint. Laureate head right / Virtus standing facing, head right, holding spear and shield. RIC III 92 var. (shield set on ground); RSC 80 var. (same). Good VF, a little porous. Very rare, and an unpublished variety.
