AVGVSTVS, bare head right / L • CANINIVS GALLVS • III • VIR, German, wearing long hair and beard, naked but for a cloak over shoulders, kneeling right on right knee, in attitude of submission, offering up vexillum in right hand, left hand extended below left knee. RIC I 416; RSC 383; BMCRE 127-30 = BMCRR Rome 4678-81; BN 560-4. Good VF, toned, a few scratches under tone.
