HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, laureate head right / S C across field, Diana standing left, holding arrow in right hand, bow in left. RIC II 777; Strack 702; Banti 710; BMCRE 1545. EF, lovely chestnut brown patina, a hint of smoothing in fields on reverse. An exceptional portrait of restrained elegance, one of the finest coin portraits of Hadrian.
