Theodosius III of Adramytium. 715-717. Æ Follis (2.81 g, 6h). Syracuse mint. Struck 715-717. Crowned facing half-length bust, wearing loros, holding spear over shoulder in right hand, globus cruciger in left / Large M; monogram above, palms flanking, Θ below; SCL. DOC 9; MBBS 71/1; Spahr 293; MIB 16; SB 1496. Good VF, dark green patina, a little rough. Rare.

MBBS notes a star, rather than Θ below the M on the reverse. There apparently is a variety of letters/symbols that appear in that position, as 71/0 and 71/3 have no marking, while 71/1 has Θ and 71/2 has a cross.
