Б • M • EKATEPИHA • II • IMП • ICAMOД • BCEPOC •, C П Б in exergue, crowned bust right / MOHETA • P(OУ)БЛЬ • 17 86, crowned double-headed imperial eagle facing with wings displayed, holding scepter and orb; coat-of-arms of Moskva framed by Order of St. Andrei Первозванного (the First Called) on breast; above, imperial crown; Я-A flanking tail. On edge: grained right. Bitkin 242; Severin 2237; Uzdenikov 1160. NGC photo graded MS 64, toned. This superb uncirculated specimen is an excellent example of the last type of Ekaterina roubles, and represents a scarce date and type.
