MOHETA ПOЛTИHA • 1810, crowned double-headed imperial eagle facing with wings displayed, holding scepter and orb; coat-of-arms of Moskva framed by Order of St. Andrei Первозванного (the First Called) on breast; above, imperial crown; Ф.Г. flanking tail / ГOCУДAP=/CTBEHHAЯ/POCCЇЙCKAЯ/MOHETA/C.ПБ. in five lines across field; imperial crown above; all within laurel and oak wreath. On edge: center graining left. Bitkin 80; Severin 2601; Uzdenikov 1386. NGC photo graded MS 64, iridescent toning. In this condition, one of the great rarities of the poltina denomination, and a centerpiece for any coin cabinet.
