THESSALY, Pharsalos. Mid-late 5th century BC. AR Hemidrachm (14mm, 3.11 g, 4h). Helmeted head of Athena right / Horse head right within incuse square. Lavva 48a (V30/R30; this coin, illustrated); SNG Copenhagen -; McClean 4678 (same obv. die). EF, lightly toned, small banker’s mark on reverse. Excellent metal for issue.
