ELIS, Olympia. 93rd Olympiad. 408 BC. AR Stater (11.63 g, 10h). Hera mint. Head of Hera right, wearing stephanos adorned with four palmettes, three tendrils, and H-P-A / Flaming thunderbolt within olive wreath. Seltman, Temple - (dies -/ην [unlisted obv. die]); cf. BCD Olympia 88; SNG Copenhagen 380 (same rev. die). VF, toned, minor die breaks on obverse.

Although this obverse die is not listed in Seltman or the Katoché hoard (NC 1951), reverse die ην is only known paired with die BG, which was struck only for the 93rd Olympiad (see Katoché hoard, p. 52).
