THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 380-365 BC. AR Drachm (5.98 g, 11h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, hair in ampyx, wearing necklace / Mare and foal standing right; ΛAPI below, ΣAIΩN above. L-S series 6, type C, O22/R1, specimen c = Jameson 1093 (this coin); Lorber, Hoard 8-16; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG Blackburn 599 (same dies). EF, attractively toned, slight die shift on reverse. Sharp obverse strike from fresh die.
