Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl / Owl standing right, head facing, with spread tail feathers; olive sprig and crescent behind, AΘE to right; all within incuse square. Starr group V.B, series 4, 199 var. (O171/R- [unlisted rev. die]); SNG Copenhagen -; SNG München -; Pozzi 1541 & 1544. EF, lightly toned, minor porosity. Reverse sharply struck from fresh die, well centered.
