Phalanthos riding dolphin left, holding Boeotian shield and lance; cockle shell below / Taras as Oikistes seated right, holding distaff and small bird. Fischer-Bossert group 18, 270j (V125/R203) = Vlasto, Taras type 49, f = Vlasto 235 (this coin); HN Italy 844; SNG Lloyd 140; BMC 78; Gulbenkian 24; de Luynes 286; McClean 558; Boston MFA 55 = Warren 23 (all from the same dies). Near VF, toned, graffito (’T’) on obverse under tone. Very rare.
