CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Carnutes. Circa 50-30 BC. Æ 15mm (2.99 g, 5h). Diademed head right; uncertain legend (VOIIC?) inverted below / Celticized horse standing right; cross with pellets in quarters above, pentagram before, O below. D&T 2616; Depeyrot, NC V, 46.6 (this coin); CCCBM III -. Good VF, dark green patina, obverse a little off center. Extremely rare, one of only six recorded by Depeyrot.
