Struck 1024-1030. +CNVT REX Λ, bust left wearing pointed helmet; scepter before, cross pattée behind / +LEOFPINE ON LI, voided short cross, with central pellet in circle; in each angle, a broken annulet enclosing a pellet. Mossop -; SCBI 14 (Copenhagen), 1697-8 var. (no cross on obv.); BMC -; North 787 var. (same); SCBC 1158; CNG 45, lot 2768. Superb EF, toned. Very rare variety with cross on obverse.
