Head of Kore-Persephone left, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace; bucranium behind / Quadriga galloping left, driven by Nike holding long kentron, eight-rayed star above; SURAKOSIWN in exergue. BMC Sicily pg. 201, 439; SNG ANS 754 var. (bee on obverse); SNG Lloyd 1524 var. (amphora); SNG Lockett 1008 var. (bee); CNG Auction 40, lot 908 (same dies). Toned EF, reverse slightly double struck, trace of horn silver. Very rare. ($7500)
