SICILY, Siculo-Punic. Circa 350-320/315 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.97 gm). Wreathed head of Arethusa left, wearing triple-pendant earring and necklace; three dolphins swimming around, pellet before nose / Horse stepping right before palm tree. Jenkins, SNR 56, 129 (O43/R116 - this coin listed as specimen #2); SNG Lloyd 1614 (same dies); SNG Lockett 1035 (same obverse die); SNG Copenhagen 83 (same dies). Lightly toned, near EF, a few small spots of hoard patina on the obverse at 1:00, otherwise choice surfaces. ($2000)
