Head of Athena facing slightly left, wearing crested and winged Phrygian helmet; K[ΛEY]ΔΩP[OY] across bowl of helmet / Lion standing left, feeding; monogram below. Williams 334 (O175/R246); HN Italy 1295; SNG ANS 1331 (same dies). Fine, deeply toned, area of flat strike, flan flaw on reverse (the diagnostic for this die). Williams cites 27 examples.
