KINGS of THRACE. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 17.08 g, 12h). Lysimacheia mint. Struck circa 297/6-282/1 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear behind; monogram in circle to inner left, HP monogram in exergue. Unpublished. VF, toned.

Although this coin is unpublished, the style of the obverse is nearly identical to another issue from Lysimacheia, such that its obverse die must have been engraved by the same hand (see, e.g.: CNG 72, 210; CNG 63, 272; Gorny 176, lot 115; Gorny 165, 1150; and Peus 380, 422).
