SIKYONIA, Sikyon. Circa 431-400 BC. AR Stater (24mm, 11.88 g, 12h). Chimaera standing left, raising forepaw; ΣE in exergue / Dove flying left; Σ above tail; all within wreath. BCD Peloponnesos 185 (same dies). VF, a hint of porosity. Wonderful composition, from the earliest staters of Sicyon. Very rare.
