Constantine I. AD 307/310-337. Æ Follis (20mm, 3.1412 g). Constantinople mint, 2nd officina. Struck AD 327. Rosette-diademed head right, in attitude of prayer toward the heavens / Victory seated left on cippus, head right, holding palm branch in both hands; at feet to left, bound captive seated left, head right; trophy behind; B/-//CONS. Cf. RIC VII 32 (for obv. portrait and rev. type); Speck & Huston issue 2, 32A; LRBC 995. VF, red-brown patina, minor roughness. Unpublished. Speck and Huston knew of only three examples, none of which were from the second officina.
