SASANIAN KINGS. Husrav (Khosrau) II. AD 591-628. Lot of Two (2) AR Drachms. Both coins: Bust right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent, two wings, and star-in-crescent, ribbons and crescents on shoulders; monogram behind head, stars flanking crown; double border, star-in-crescents in margin; “apd” to right of lowest star-in-crescent / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames, date on left, mint signature on right; triple border, star-in-crescents in margin. Lot includes the following mints: a) (27mm, 4.11 g, 3h). BYŠ (Bišabuhr) mint. Dated RY 26 (AD 616). “ššswyst” to left, “byš” to right. Cf.
