THESSALY, Krannon. 3rd century BC. Æ Chalkous (14mm, 2.03 g, 6h). Jugate heads right of horseman, wearing petasos, and horse / Forepart of bull right, head facing; trident to right. BCD Thessaly 1083 (same dies), otherwise unpublished. VF, green patina. The second and finest known.


The BCD specimen hammered for 3800 CHF on an estimate of 200 CHF.
