Circa 129-125 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 8.56 g, 1h). Diademed and draped bust right / Nikias, in military outfit, standing left, raising right hand in gesture of benediction and cradling palm frond in left arm; monogram to inner left. Cf. Bopearachchi 2C (drachm); Bopearachchi & Rahman -; SNG ANS -; cf. Triton XII, 412 (for type, but different monogram); otherwise unpublished. Fine, cleaning scratches and areas of corrosion. Extremely rare type with a monogram known only for the similar drachm of this ruler.
