Made circa late 17th century. + IN VNN GLICK VERZAG NID + (regarding misfortune, not at all dispirited), Fortune standing facing on shell, holding billowing sail with both hands; cityscape of Zürich and lake in background / Cityscape of Zürich; above, cherub flying left among the clouds, holding coat-of-arms. Cf. Leu 35, lot 378a (solid gold). Good VF, toned. Has been made into a case which screws together.
