THESSALY, Larissa. Early to mid 4th century BC. AR Drachm (19.5mm, 6.08 g, 6h). Head of the nymph Larissa three-quarter facing r., necklace line in the form of an open V, continuing to form a line circle around the nymph’s head; all within border of dots / ΛΑΡΙ above, horse with straight legs feeding r. on solid exergue line. Lorber, Early, 75.1 (these dies). VF, very lightly toned; rev. with a few small cleaning scratches above the horse and centred a little tightly on the flan.
