Head of the nymph Larissa three-quarter facing l., wearing pendant earring and plain necklace; border of dots / ΛΑΡΙΣΑ in exergue, ΙOИ r. upwards, hero Thessalos wearing petasos and chlamys, preparing to vault on the back of bridled horse cantering r. Weber 2853 (same dies); see also Peus 318 (7 May 1987) 1177 (same dies). VF, toned, with turquoise and orange hues, a pleasing coin, without the usual disfiguring obv. and rev. die flaws that occur with this type.
