THESSALY, Phalanna. 220s BC. Æ Dichalkon (17mm, 4.17 g, 8h). Youthful male head r., linear circle / ΦAΛ-AN-N-AIΩN from above l., r. down circular, horse trotting r. Papaevangelou-Genakos 9 (this coin, illustrated on plate 1). Near VF, dark chocolate-brown patina with minor surface roughness.

Comparison of the horse on the rev. of this coin with the rev. of lot 581 above suggests that they are contemporary and from the same hand.
