(623.1) THESSALY, Pharkadon. 3rd quarter of the 4th century BC. Æ Dichalkon (17mm, 3.79 g, 2h). Horse with straight legs grazing r. / ΦAPK[A]-ΔONION in two lines, the second part above the first and upside down, crescent, its horns upwards, their ends joined by a line that divides the two parts of the legend. See Triton V (15 January 2002) 1348 (same dies). Near VF, green patina with a few minor marks; a die flaw beginning on the exergue of the obverse.


(623.2) THESSALY, Pharkadon. 3rd quarter of the 4th century BC. Æ Dichalkon (16.5mm, 2.82 g, 7h). Horse grazing r., border of dots / ΦAP[K]A-ΔONION in two lines, the second part above the first; they are divided by a plain line, crescent, its horns pointing upwards. This rev. arrangement not found in the references consulted. Near VF, dark green patina with dark red areas; obv. and rev. not perfectly centred, the horse’s head partly off flan.
