Bearded head of Dionysos r., wearing a wreath of ivy / Π-E to l. and r., kantharos with vine tendrils emerging from it and bunches of grapes hanging to l. and r., above, ivy leaf; all in a circular incuse. Rogers 559, fig. 316; SNG Alpha Bank 406. Near VF, green patina with pink hues; an attractive coin. From the collection of Professor Peter R. Franke.
