(899.1) THESSALY, Thessalian League. Second half 2nd century BC. Æ Trichalkon (19mm, 7.21 g, 12h). Laureate head of Apollo right / [ΘEΣ]ΣA/ΛΩ[N], Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear held in her right hand, shield on her left arm; monogram in inner right field. SNG Christomanos 455. Good Fine, olive green patina, some porosity.


(899.2) THESSALY, Thessalian League. Second half 2nd century BC. Æ Trichalkon (20mm, 8.06 g, 12h). Laureate head of Apollo right / ΘEΣΣA/[ΛΩN], Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear held in her right hand, shield on her left arm; monogram between spear and shield. Not found in the consulted references. Fine, red-brown patina with some porosity; rare.

Not found in the consulted references. Good Fine, stripped brown surfaces, some porosity, traces of red and green patina; rare.

Not found in the consulted references. Near VF, attractive dark green and red patina with earthen traces; rare.

Rogers 15 (without countermark). Fine, countermark is VF, slightly rough dark green patina, traces of red.
