(924.1) THESSALY, Koinon of Thessaly. temp. Claudius. AD 41-54. Æ Triassarion (25mm, 11.14 g, 7h). Antigonos, strategos. ΣEBAΣTHΩN ΘEΣΣAΛΩ-[N], veiled female head (Livia?) right, wearing stephanos / ΣTPATHΓOY ANTIΓONOY, the nymph Larissa standing left, holding ball in her right hand; monogram in left field. Burrer Em. 1, Series 2, 28 (A10/R22); RPC 1434. Good Fine, green patina; rare with obverse type to right.

[Σ]EBAΣTHΩN ΘEΣΣAΛΩN, veiled female head (Livia?) left, wearing stephanos / ΣTPATHΓOY ANTIΓONOY, the nymph Larissa standing left, holding ball in her right hand; monogram in left field. Burrer Em. 1, Series 2, 36 corr. (A11/R30; monogram); RPC 1434. Near VF, green patina.

Burrer fails to note that there is a slight variation in some of the monograms of this series, although many examples in his plates show this.
