Laureate head of Apollo right; ΦI below / Aitolos standing left, kausia hung around neck and sword slung at waist, holding spear in right hand, right foot set on rock, leaning on raised right knee; monogram to left. Tsangari 698–9 var. (D18/R– [unlisted rev. die]); BCD Akarnania 440; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG Berry 567; Hunterian 3; Weber 3123. EF, toned, a hint of die wear on obverse. Struck from obverse die with high relief.
