Three-quarter facing head of Apollo wearing laurel wreath, head turned slightly right / Zeus Labraundos standing right, holding double axe (labrys) and lotus-tipped sceptre; O or a wreath behind. SNG Copenhagen 597; SNG von Aulock 2375 var. (no O); McClean 5824. Superb EF, light iridescent toning around devices, fine style boldly struck on both sides. An exceptional specimen. ($1500)
