KINGS of CAPPADOCIA. Ariarathes III. Circa 230-220 BC. Æ (18mm, 4.27 g, 5h). Tyana mint. Head right, wearing bashlik / Horseman riding right; [palm tree] to right. Simonetta 2a or 2b; cf. SNG Copenhagen Supp. 633. Fine, dark brown patina. Multiple countermarks, but only the eagle on the reverse being clear. Very rare.
