SICILY, Katane. Circa 412-403 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 17.38 g 11). ΚΑΤΑΝΑΙΩΝ Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΚΑΤΑΝΑΙΩΝ Charioteer driving fast quadriga to left, holding reins in both hands; above, Nike flying right to crown the driver; in exergue, grey mullet swimming to left below inscription. BMFA 268 (same dies). SNG ANS 1261 SNG Lloyd 904 (same dies). Lightly toned and attractive. Good very fine.
