Crowned Sasanian-style bust right; illegible Pahlavi legend behind, “xvarrah” in Pahlavi before; circle border with crescents at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock / In three lines, “Zaranj” in Arabic and “goodness” and “growth” in Pahlavi; circle border with crescents at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock. Gyselen 50 var. (three pellets below rev. legend, without crescents in margin). VF, brown patina. Very rare.
