Struck circa 88-86 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY, Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear diagonally in background; KΦ monogram to inner left, BY on throne; in exergue, ornate trident left. Callataÿ p. 142, dies D2/R1; AMNG I –; SNG Copenhagen –; G. Hirsch 45, lot 1562 = G. Hirsch 37, lot 75 (same dies). EF, traces of luster. Well centered. Very rare Byzantion issue for Mithradates, and only one example with this monogram listed by Callataÿ.
