Extremely Rare Tutankhamun Scaraboid

New Kingdom. 18th Dynasty. Tutankhamun (circa 1386-1349 BC). Steatite scaraboid (16x10mm). Base is engraved with the throne name of Tutankhamun, Nebkehperure (“Lord of manifestations is Re”). Small chip at mouth of piercing, delightful blue glaze, pierced for mounting. Extremely rare.

Scarabs and scaraboids of Tutankhamun are extremely rare. We have never handled one and this is a unique possibility to acquire the cartouche of this famous king.
