2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scarab (16x11mm). Base engraved with repetitive protective signs above a Horus falcon and Uraei (Royal Cobras). Space-filling signs around. Light cracks on back and down side, otherwise intact, once glazed, pierced for mounting.
