PAMPHYLIA, Side. Circa 360-333 BC. AR Stater (21mm, 10.45 g, 11h). Athena Parthenos standing left, holding Nike, shield, and spear; pomegranate to left, Pamphylian psi to right / Apollo standing left, holding branch and sacrificing out of phiale over altar to left; Pamphylian psi between phiale and altar. Cf. Atlan Group IX, 132; SNG France –; SNG von Aulock –; SNG Copenhagen –; Gorny & Mosch 117, lot 310 (same dies); Baldwin’s 34, lot 120 (same obv. die). VF, toned, a few marks, some porosity. Very rare with these control letters.
