Head of Persephone right, wearing wreath of grain ears, single-pendant earring, and pearl necklace / Ajax, nude but for crested Corinthian helmet, holding sword in right hand, shield decorated with coiled serpent on left arm, advancing right; OΠONTIΩN flanking; kantharos below. BCD Lokris 99; SNG Lockett 1700; de Luynes 1958; Pozzi 1339. EF, wonderful old cabinet tone, minor die wear on reverse.
