Good VF, toned dark brown, original roughness in fields. ($250)

This medal references the jubilee of 25 years, instituted in 1475, to end with the 1500th anniversary of Christ's birth. Some examples evidence a date alteration from a reverse type of 1450 (Nicholas V, 1447-1455. Lincoln 331-332). Little is known about the life of Paladino, besides the fact that he was prolific in producing reproductions of 15th Century Papal medals.
