THESSALY, Gyrton. Circa 340s-330s BC. AR Hemidrachm (16mm, 2.91 g, 2h). Head of the nymph Gyrtone facing slightly left, hair in ampyx / Horse standing left, preparing to lie down. BCD Thessaly I 1050; Traité IV 741, pl. CCC 10 (same dies). VF, toned, slightly granular surface, patches of find patina. Extremely rare, one of six specimens known with horse left.
