THESSALY, Thessalian League. Late 2nd-mid 1st centuries BC. AR Stater (21mm, 5.93 g, 12h). Pausanias and At(re?)–, magistrates. Head of Zeus right, wearing oak wreath / Athena Itonia striding right; ΠAY-ΣANIA[Σ] above spear, NI to inner left, AT monogram to inner right. BCD Thessaly II 825 (same dies). Good VF, toned, areas of porosity, struck with worn obverse die. Scarce variety.
