The Triumvirs. Mark Antony. Late summer-autumn 38 BC. AR Denarius (21mm, 3.72 g, 1h). Military mint traveling with Antony in northern Syria. Bare head right / Trophy; at base to left, prow left; Macedonian shield to right. Crawford 536/3 note; CRI 272; Sydenham 1204; RSC 18b. EF, darkly toned with traces of underlying luster, obverse off center, small flan flaw and die shift on obverse, hairline die break on reverse.
