(rose) (annulet) ЄDWΛRD’+ DI + GRΛ’ + RЄX + ΛnGL’ + Z + FRΛnC, crowned facing bust, with crescent on breast and quatrefoils flanking; all within double polylobe / (rose) POSVI (double +) DЄVm (double +) Λ DIVTOR Є’+ mЄVm//CIVI TΛS LOn DOn, long cross pattée, with trefoil in each quarter. Blunt & Whitton Type II(vi)/(vi); North 1531; SCBC 1972. EF, attractively toned. Exceptional strike.
